Stories told through designing custom succulent creations.

It started with a story about a plant — a graphic novel that put a spark in a child’s hands. From one book came nine, pulled off the library shelf and actually read. From nine books came soil under three sisters’ fingernails. And from the soil came the first little world — a garden that didn’t exist that morning, and three girls who were proud of it by night.

Not a plant. A little world someone imagined for you.

Most plants breathe in the daytime. A succulent learned a desert trick: it holds its breath all day so the hot sun can’t steal its water, and breathes at night— tucking its night-breath away inside its fat little leaves to make food when the morning sun comes back. That’s why it forgives you. Why a single fallen leaf can grow a whole new plant. Why it is, almost on purpose, the first living thing a child can keep alive.

A succulent is already a tiny landscape — a forest, a cliff, a secret garden the size of your hand. Put someone in it who wants something — a dragon who can’t sleep, a fox finding his way home — and it stops being a plant and becomes a moment. Designing one is authorship. Anyone can buy a plant. No one else has your story.

Some rare succulents are torn from wild cliffs and sold — and it’s pushing them toward gone. Ours are never taken from anywhere. A leaf laid on soil by a child’s hand becomes a whole new plant — and costs a wild place nothing. Made by real hands, grown with our own, honest about where every plant came from. That’s the one thing no one can copy.
The makersThe only shop on earth where the artisans are nine, seven, and five.
Tell the sisters what kind of scene you want, and we’ll propagate and design it just for you!
Tell us who it’s for and what you’re wishing them — a brave year, a new home, a grandmother who loves to plant. The girls will build a little world to hold it, and tell its story. One of a kind, told by hand. Yours to keep, or yours to give.
We didn’t invent any of this. People have loved and grown these desert plants for a hundred years — we’re just the newest, smallest hands in a very old story.
A little world, a little happiness — small enough to hold, yours to keep.
